Rice County is covered in lime green and messages about underage drinking prevention thanks to a partnership with RCCCF, Sterling Police Department, Lyons Police Department, Rice County Sheriff's office, area youth, and area retailers and restaurants.

"Sticker Shock is an awareness campaign that focuses on education about restrictions when it comes to providing alcohol to minors. We know 4th of July is a busy holiday weekend that can often lead to consumption of alcohol. A friendly reminder about the dangers of underage drinking and the consequences for providing alcohol to minors is being put out just in time for Independence Day," said Raechel Manley, Community Mobilizer.
